  Fun Facts

Super clean waterfall about halfway through the run!

   Run Description [Season: Rainy]

This creek is usually running in the rainy season after a good rain when the Clackamas is up to at least 3000 cfs.

The creek is quite small at the put-in. The first few miles is pool drop class 2-3 stuff. Mostly pretty easy, just watch for wood since the creek is quite narrow. Also watch for fishermen. In the winter this is a popular steelhead stream. About halfway through the run eddy out in the pool above the fishladder at the falls. The falls is in the 12-15 foot range and has clean lines down the right and center right. The hole at the bottom can get big at higher levels, but otherwise the drop is pretty straightforward. If it weren't for the pain of carrying your boat up the fishladder it would be a fun falls to huck a few times.

A mile or so below the falls the action picks up with a fun series of class 3 to 3+ boulder gardens.

You can extend this trip by continuing through the next section.
